German-French cooperation for aviation - COMWORXX is member of the month of Hamburg Aviation11/20/2019 "Breaking down cultural and linguistic barriers, qualifying potential customers and partners in the neighboring country, taking on sales work up to the conclusion of the contract - these are typical fields of work for the Franco-German start-up." You're stronger together than alone. This simple statement is well known in the European aviation industry, but if Hamburg Aviation member COMWORXX has its way, it has not yet been implemented everywhere. In Germany and France, the regional and national ecosystems have grown and structured in a healthy way, so a merger of the two markets - apart from the Airbus activities - with corresponding growth potential is more than obvious, believes the member of the month of November. Both countries acted largely separately - as recently confirmed by a BDLI study - and this particularly in the market segment with the highest development potential, the medium-sized businesses.
In 2018, France was the guest of honor at the ILA. The occasion was the signing of the relevant FCAS contracts by the German and French defense ministers, a starting signal for an increasingly common approach in the development of new partnerships in the aviation industry. The later founders of COMWORXX, Marcus Jungermann and Hugo Duchemin, at that time still colleagues as aviation experts in a logistics group, acted as intermediaries between BDLI and its French counterpart GIFAS, also as VIP guides for French parliamentarians. At home in both countries, with a professional background from Airbus, Lufthansa and Air France, the two managed voluntary talks between potential partners, which in at least one case resulted in a later cooperation. This is how the business idea for COMWORXX came about naturally. Breaking down cultural and linguistic barriers, qualifying potential customers and partners in the neighboring country, taking on sales work right through to the conclusion of a contract - these are typical fields of work for COMWORXX. Hugo Duchemin assures anyone who is still hesitant to set up a local sales organization can fall back on COMWORXX to handle the first export transactions. Purchasing also makes use of COMWORXX's expertise to expand its supply chain to the neighboring market. COMWORXX is based in Germany and France. Source: www.hamburg-aviation.de
